Environmental Studies - ENV S

Humans are dramatically reshaping Earth's ecosystems at an unprecedented rate. This solutions-oriented course delves into the complex drivers of ecosystem change and explores a diversity of strategies to mitigate biodiversity loss. Students will immerse themselves in ecological theories of ecosystem change, discover how scientists evaluate and measure change, and explore local ecosystem change through a group project. This course equips students with critical ecological insights and practical experience, empowering them to make meaningful contributions towards addressing today's biodiversity and climate crises.

Prerequisites: Environmental Studies 40 (may be taken concurrently) and Environmental Studies 2 or 60 or EEMB 2.
