DANCE 75 - Aerial Dance
This course teaches the technique of aerial dance on various apparatus including, static trapeze, aerial silks, corde lisse, and aerial sling. Particular attention is given to safety protocols, transitions from floor to the equipment, strength training drills, and aerial skills at the beginning and intermediate level. Various foot, hip and leg locks are taught, along with straddle inversions and variations on different climbing techniques.
