In times where morality and ethics are hotly contested, engaging in the study of monsters can help us discern our own moral code, which can help us stand straight in an increasingly crooked house. In this honors seminar, students read and watch stories that help us explore together what makes someone or something monstrous, and ways in which people are taking on the monster as an identity to take up space and agency in a world that might render them monstrous.
