CollegeNothing to say but Dr.Wilton is just a really nice professor. I'm graduating and he's still my favorite bio professor. His tests for 110 were kind of hard but the final was easier.
I LOVE DR. MIKE WILTON!!!!!! Best professor you will ever have, hands DOWN. Passionate, cares about each of his students, and an AMAZING lecturer. Very accessible through office hours and during class. This class made me love biology. Exams can be tricky, but they're always very fair. Study well and you'll do well. Mike cares about your success.
Mike was by far the best professor I had during my time at UCSB. He completely changed the trajectory of my college experience and my life as well. He is extremely caring and wants to see his students succeed. All you have to do is put in the hard work. Thank you Mike. You deserve all the accolades. The best Professor at UCSB hands down.
Such an amazing professor. I love him so so much he is so understanding and genuinely wants you to succeed. I was feeling so overwhelmed and wanting to switch out of biopsychology major but he helped me push through and realize that i deserve to be here. Highly recommend him
Absolutely stellar guy. Great at simplifying concepts down, and was very encouraging of questions. I found the lecture slides to be poorly organized, but his teaching made up for it. Passionate about improving our overall experience in the class, which is not common. UCSB students are lucky to have this guy in the bio program!
Mike was a very good lecturer, and overall just a positive person. He taught his part (plant phys) of 1B well, and the exams we had on them were fair and related to what we had covered in class. He was also very accessible outside of class. He responded to emails quickly, which was really helpful whenever I had specific questions.
