CollegeWent to class twice and just taught myself everything based on the slides. Honestly the class is definitely easier than 10a and he gives a generous curve (even tho he doesn't put it on the syllabus). Midterms were easy and final was harder but fair. Definitely not a great lecturer so honestly just be good at teaching yourself.
The professor seems very nice but the lectures weren't that helpful and were very concept based. The midterms were fair but the final was very hard so there was a decent curve. The class gets harder/easier a few times but just make sure to do all the practice problems/tests. For sure was difficult but not the worst, a little harder than 10A.
Not the best professor, but definitely not the worst. You have to teach yourself the material. Exams were very similar to previous exam questions. Slides and lectures were useless. Midterms were very straightforward. Generous curves because everyone usually fails the final.
he is fine, lectures are not super helpful however he is more helpful than hartman if you had him for 10a. i mean standardized course, curved about 8% bc our final average was a 58%
Grading: 4 Modules 20%, 2 Midterms 20% each, Final 40% Don't bother going to lecture. slides are useless. You will have to teach yourself. The good news is he gives a lot of practice problems and provides past exams. I used them to learn the material. DO THE PRACTICE QUESTIONS. The exams were similar to the practice questions. Class is fair IMO.
Econ100B is a very standardized course, and a lot of practice is helpful for you to study. You gonna miss him once you take other ECON classes immediately. Prof.Qin made this hard course manageable to learn. I think he is largely underrated somehow right now.
