CollegeOverall, she was kind of mid. All she did was read from the slides in lecture and those are posted online. Class was super easy, I did not try at all this was a backburner kind of class. The only hard part was the homework which was often worded horribly and the grading was so inconsistent and solely based on how nice your TA was feeling that week
Professor Boddy is an awesome professor who cares a lot about what she's teaching! The class itself isn't necessarily easy nor hard, but your grade seriously depends on your TA and how picky they are when it comes to grading the homework. Lots of notes from the lecture and readings but the midterm and final being online is insanely clutch.
Wonderful class and Prof. Boddy is amazing and clearly passionate. She emphasizes important things perfectly and makes it all so fun. Test/homework questions are phrased confusingly but once u get used to it it gets better. Prof Boddy is the greatest and I'm totally taking another of her classes when I can :)
Dr. Boddy was a very passionate and very very interesting lecturer. Sections are mandatory with one free skip and 5 total homework assignments. Two tests both online (midterm and final), both open note. She loves her research and does great to incorporate it in. Definitely plan on taking more of her classes.
Truly one of the best classes I've taken! Grade is 4 hmks due throughout the quarter (10% each). Midterm (25%) was online, open note, unlimited time. Weekly reading quizzes 10%, lowest 2 scores dropped. Final (25%) was unessay but you can do a traditional essay too. Dr. Boddy really provides the space to take away what you want from the course!
She is a great lecturer because she is passionate about her work. Very safe environment for questions during lectures. Pace is great and she makes sure to word concepts and ideas in multiple ways ensuring that students can grasp the material in its entirety. Homework assignments and quizzes are all relevant to course content. Not much busy work.
