All based on the readings. Her power points were confusing and provided no help. Goes on tangents all throughout class yet still expects you to know and understand the material she did not go over. You are left to learn and understand the course by yourself.

Her class felt all over the place and disorganized. She gives a ton of reading and almost exclusively tests you on the readings but wont give you titles, shell refer to them by their last name but theres over 15 different authors. She would go on tangents in lectures and then make us learn the material on our own.

this class was actually pretty hard.. she goes off on a lot of tangents so I felt kind of lost. grades really harshly. No midterm but there are group discussions, quizzes, and one book review. Final was in class short essays. She takes attendance

Professor Segura was a very nice lady, but her class was a complete disaster. It ended up being online, which made things even worse rather then easier. We would get assignments back 5 weeks after we turned it in. It was just really bad. She is very passionate on the topic but the structure needs a lot of fixing. Also the TA was a HARD grader.

Awful Professor that expects you to recall everything she says during lecture and wants you to quote them in the assignments. Lectures aren't in the least bit interesting and are quite repetitive. You essentially have to brown nose her by frequently speaking in class in hopes that she raises your grade at the end.

Professor goes on random tangents throughout her lectures and is passive aggressive when asked questions. Her TA grades extremely harshly and nitpicks on little details. I tried my hardest to follow his critiques but given that there are only 3 assignments, I couldn't improve by much. Short story: don't take the class. It is awful in every regard.
