Amazing professor and is really straightforward with her grading criteria
Dr. B is so chill! Always responds to everyone super fast (she made a class group me which was helpful). I never did the reading and I still got good grades on the assignments bc she covers everything in lectures (which are super short). She is super fun and isn't afraid to laugh at herself! I recommend taking Dr. B for any writing class!
Unless you want to go back to a high school environment, then I do not recommend this prof and class. Dishes out legal knowledge, but is usually wrong and thinks her paralegal exp transfers to law. Types up the lectures during class.... why? The truth is she wasn't good enough to become a musicologist so she became an adjunct.
I love Dr B!!! This was my favorite class of the quarter. Very well paced, with few smaller projects to help lead to the big end-of-quarter grant proposal. Shes uses specs grading which makes this class low stress. Would recommend this GE to everyone!
Dr. B is the best!!! Short readings and homework. The class was well paced and the content was straightforward. She answers emails quickly and is always there to help during her office hours. She gives excellent, helpful feedback on assignments.
Definitely one of the best professors I've ever had as well as one of the most helpful courses I've ever taken. If you're thinking of going to grad school this class is a huge help in learning about academic research and writing, and Baillargeon makes it less stressful to process. Everything is explained well and you get a ton of good feedback.
