CollegeHad her for a condensed 6 week version of writing 2. I'm surprised there's bad reviews because I thought she was really sweet, yeah she talks a lot more than necessary and overexplains but the material wasn't very difficult and I thought she graded very leniently and put a lot of effort into feedback and helping students progress.
Terrible lecturer. There was so much useless work during the lecture, and the grading was horrible and unbelievable (always return the work and need to adjust the work for any tiny mistakes). The instructor gave a lot of feedback, but it did not help a lot in adjusting the writing. The lecture is always writing (99% writing, 1% lecturing).
This class was super boring. SOO much work to still only receive a B. She seems to mean well but still DONT take this class.
beware! she only allows you to get a B in the class if you turn everything in. heavy breather. she gives a lot of feedback and praise but doesn't reflect that in grading! she's very repetitive in assignments/readings/lectures/etc. limited time to do a lot of work. 0/10 don't recommend
She piles up readings/assignments and makes an easy requirement a horrible experience. She is one of the only teachers that keeps you in class for the full 2 hours and she fills the class with pointless activities. This is supposed to be an easy requirement class but it was filled with so much busy work I felt as if I was in high school.
While the assignments are not graded as long as you do all of the assignments and attend the lectures you should be able to receive at least a B. They are very important in building the final portfolio. She is very caring and gave back good feedback. Very easy class for those who need to take writing 2.
