CollegePretty decent prof for his first time teaching. His lectures were interesting and brought in guest lectures to expand our knowledge. I hated his quizzes and how the TA was grading them. There was a final project at the end which expands creativity and teamwork. If you want to learn take Professor Kang, if you want an easy A take Professor Feldman.
It was his first time teaching but you could tell he cared about his students and the way in which he taught. We had small quizzes, so no traditional 'midterm' but they were heavily focused on lecture material. Attendance and participation made up a big part of the grade so be sure to go to class and participate. Our final was a group project.
Great professor that focused on students learning rather than exams. Heavily emphasizes participation, but was not an issue. However one downside is biweekly quizzes that had vague answers. Final was a group project was helpful applying everything we learned. There is also weekly readings, but it helps with the content.
Such a great guy, his quizzes were a little off in my opinion but this man is so helpful and kind that you will be just fine.
My king. His class has been my favorite at UCSB thus far. He is very supportive and inspirational. It is definitely a tough course and there is no easy A, especially when it comes to participation and speaking up in class, but Professor King was amazing
