Extremely knowledgable! Judith is an amazing professor and mentor! If you want to learn she will guide you. I'm lucky to have had met her!
As a graduate student I was fine when I did what she told me, once I developed and designed my own system of pedagogy we had problems, she told me, "I'm the only one that will graduate you from this University," it's my way or the highway attitude.
A mess. Read the other comments.
A mess. Pathetic. Needy. Not processed. Issues of transferance/counter-transferance. A lot of mental health issues--and that's just the beginning because these issues affect her teaching. If you are compliant, smile broadly and no, you'll do well, though. You'll learn "Judith" but not much more than that. She helps students get published, though.
I find her extremely intelligent and student oriented. Her teaching style is non-linear but she's more interested in you learning something than fitting into her expectation. Most people I know gets A's in her class
You'll never meet someone teaching who has more issues. It's very sad: she needs serious professional help. Her m.o. is to gather the neediest around her, those who won't challenge, etc. Classes are as described elsewhere on this page. She talks about how her colleagues are not intelligent enough to understand her thought. Poor thing.
