Collegeone of the best for sure; will give your playing more musicality than you ever thought possible; get ready to work on your technique
Brightest pianist on campus! I haven't had a piano teacher quite like him, and I can definitely say even after several years of playing, I've gotten LOADS better since having lessons with him. You will not regret what you hear from yourself. Caution: be prepared to be occasionally side-tracked by his stories; but don't worry, they're really funny!
Great prof
Quirky, insightful, brilliant, and strong minded. Exceptional music teacher.
Mr. Asche is a wonderful teacher. My level of technique and endurance went sky high under his teaching, and the musicality and leadership qualities he posesses is second to none. I would have been lost as a student were it not for his tough but extremely caring approach. He cares about his students, and he cares about his teaching, period.
I will remain forever grateful for the time during which I received instruction from Professor Asche and associated with his other piano students. It represents one of the few experiences I've known during my lifetime that I consider a true privilege.
