CollegeHom is an incredibly qualified professor who gave super engaging lectures! I took 120X as a random GE but genuinely learned so much. There was minimal work, primarily just readings. Essay rather than in-person final was also a bonus. Would recommend for anyone.
My favorite professor I've had so far! Her class was so interesting and I would 100% recommend it to anyone! The class consisted of a couple online quizzes, a midterm, and a final paper. Overall not a lot of work and I would definitely take this class again!
Great lecturer and an easy class. The only problem with the class was that I could not complete a quiz that was 10% of my grade and I went from an A in the class to a B. Overall a great class and I learned a lot. Professor Hom was great.
She's a very nice person who cares a lot about her students. Her classes are easy to learn because she makes her lectures so engaging. I don't usually leave ratings about professors, but I find it worth it in this case because of how well she does her job!
Very easy class.
Professor Hom was one of the best professors I had here at UCSB. You can tell how educated she is on this topic by the way she talks, all of her lectures were filled with such great detail. She also had amazing guest lectures, which I really enjoyed. She does take attendance, but I was happy going to class every day!
