CollegeDr. Roose is so nice and caring! You can tell she really values and hopes your success at UCSB. This class has weekly themes, including student panels, faculty panels, navigation and introduction of all kinds of resources on campus, etc. Outside class you also need to meet with your TMA weekly, who will help you A LOT about your time management.
She is amazing. Go to class as your final and midterms will be dependent on what was said. I recommend as it helps with time management which I definitely needed. I think I would have done worse in my other classes without this one since it really made me stay on top on my work. 10/10 class
Easiest A ever. If you do your things, you get an A.
Take any class with holly youll love it. super informative class and very easy 2 units. Holly works with the promise scholars but her class provides resources and support to everyone. She's very funny and personable, just have a chat with her and you'll learn a lot.
Very sweet professor and is very helpful if you ever need help! one of my favorite professors at UCSB and course is very light. It's an easy an A.
Prof. Roose picked this class up last minute, but she still performed really well. Not hard, lots of printed readings. Class graded on open-note quizzes. Brought in a couple speakers that were really interesting to listen to.
