CollegeA class that's supposed to be an easy 'A', but you can unlucky and miss points on the mandatory quizzes at the end of each lecture even after watching the material. He has a soft voice that makes his lectures not exciting and hard to listen to. Wouldn't reccomend.
Enjoyed the class! Super chill esp if you are able to get the code from home. very nice, passionate professor
there are two discussion posts and two quizzes per week. the questions asked on the quizzes you wouldnt know without looking it up and every question wrong seemed to drop a point from your grade. there is no final or midterms but lecture is so boring all he does is read word for word off his slides and get mad at people for talking.
low commitment class to take alongside difficult courses. very boring lectures. consists of attendance grades, two quizzes and one film/reading discussion post a week. quizzes, which can be tricky, determine your grade so make sure you do well on them. course did give some valuable perspective on the climate crisis and what we can do about it!
I definitely suggest taking this class as an easy GE, especially if you have other hard classes since there is very little work. There is no midterms or final and your entire grade is made up of attendance, biweekly quizzes and discussion posts. Although this class made me very depressed about the state of the world
Pretty easy for the most part. Do readings and watch films, and you'll be fine. You get what you put into the class for sure. He tends to go on rants a bunch, but other than that, it's chill.
