Professor Gray is one of the most kind and caring professors I've had at UCSB. I highly recommend taking any class she teaches. She is extremely accommodating and always looking to help. 10/10 amazing professor!

She's so sweet and actually cares about her students. The class is a lot of little assignments (at least in an online setting), and sometimes I felt like it was a bit much, but the assignments were usually really easy and quick. And she's pretty lenient with deadlines and stuff if you talk to her. The course material was so inspirational.

I loved this class so much as it was super interesting without being overly stressful. Professor Gray does a fantastic job at organizing this course in a way that if you put in the work, you are set to get a lot out of it while getting good grades. Lectures were very compelling. Would highly recommend!

This class was very manageable and somewhat easy. The lectures were boring but honestly thats when I completed most of the assignments which was nice. Attendance was 50% mandatory, once a week there was an attendance quiz. The assignments (5-10pts) help you complete your research essay at a steady pace throughout the quarter. I recommend this class

Summer is an excellent professor who teaches in such a personal and inspiring way. This course is based on a qualitative research project that you conduct individually. It is VERY manageable, and Summer walks you through every step of the way. This class brings something unique in that you learn by doing, not by taking tests and regurgitating info.
