CollegeFeldwin is clear about what's on the midterms and gives a good bit of grade buffer (haha, buffer) with aleks and extra credit. However, the lectures aren't as good as Joseph's and being at 8 am is brutal. Feldwin is def overhated, but be prepared for a very difficult final.
She's a very nice lady; however, her tests are brutal. I would have passed if I had done all of the book problems that she assigned, so please do a million problems. I'm not kidding. Her ULA was incredibly helpful though.
I'm not sure why people say she's rude, she just wants to help you pass. The class is unnecessarily hard though, especially the exams. They are meant to be completely made of problems that have been shown or assigned at some point, but she gives so much homework that you end up not recognizing most of them. One question shouldn't be worth 20%.
Don't take her unless you have absolutely no choice. If you do have to take her, do ALL the book problems; she gets most of her test questions from the textbook and ALEKS. I went to office hours and it was actually very helpful, I wouldn't have passed without going.
Do not take this lecture
Really good lecturer and made things super understandable and easy to follow along. Walks through problems with you. Having said that, really hard quizzes and tests (much harder than most of the stuff learned in class). Book problems are a must. Only teaches 8 ams. Honestly one of my favorite chem professors due to her lecture style but hard class.
