I will not lie to you, please listen to the past negative reviews, I find I agree with most of them. Lectures and course structure is very messy and unintuitive. Puts complicated questions on exams and hw and often makes mistakes himself when solving them, which is confusing. I hear the course is being revised so have hope it will get better.

Was scared to take him because of the RMP reviews, but ended up being my favorite class I've taken here. Lectures can be a bit confusing at times, he makes a couple errors here and there. Midterms are doable he gives points back on them. Very funny and kind professor. You'll be fine as long as you go to lecture.

took summer session. His expectations and what will be on the test were very clear. If you understand the practice exams he posts and know his lectures well you will do well on the exams. section questions helped, overall a nice prof

Tough class and lectures were a bit disorganized but its not impossible to do well as long as you put in the work by actually reading the textbook and doing at least some book problems for each chapter. Don't get discouraged by the many bad reviews.

Dr. Joshi is a very kind and knowledgeable professor. The lectures may be slightly rushed sometimes, but all can be cleared up by rewatching them and asking questions in office hours or after class. It's essential to do all the book problems and understand them entirely. Start studying early for this class and stay caught up and you will succeed.

PJ is a very intelligent, caring, professor and he does care about his students. With that being said, lectures were unclear and critical material was not explained. The midterm also had questions relating to things barely talked about or we talked about the lecture after the midterm. Tests were difficult and way too long for the period allotted.
