CollegeMath 122A in Summer (for some reason option wasn't available): The professor is organized and gives clear and concise lectures. He writes neatly on the chalkboard and explains concepts well and in a straight forward manner. The pacing of the class is good, and the midterm exam was easy and the final was fair and similar to homework.
the only exam is final and it's more difficult than the problems he did in the lecture. won't take his course anymore
I took several classes with Harutyunyan, he is a great lecturer and one of my favourite professors at UCSB.
He is very hard to understand and goes so quickly through material that it is hard to keep up. It does not seem like he wants his students to succeed in this course it seems like he would rather finish everything so he can go home. His lectures do not prepare you for the midterm exams you must teach yourself everything
The professor put in no effort. DO NOT TAKE HIM
Worst professor I've had. Unclear what was expected and extremely unrealistic grading. Provided little feedback on what to study. Avoid at all costs!
