Explores evidence-based, asset-focused strategies to support effective near-peer learning in biology. Students will develop skills in metacognition, communication, and student-centered teaching practices through readings, discussions, and self-reflection. Emphasis is placed on understanding how students learn, fostering engagement, and promoting academic success through inclusive, reflective approaches.

Prerequisites: Completion of MCDB 1A, MCDB1B, EEMB 2, EEMB 3 all with a grade of C- or better. Consent of instructor.
