Really nice prof! She is so willing to provide you with help and suggestions for assignments during OH, and she responses email timely. She even provided extra credit to help you enhance your grade!! Really love her lectures and appreciate her support thought the quarter, and definitely will take her other classes if possible!!!

Dr. Genova is the most sweetest and caring person I've met! She is a tough grader and makes you work for that A but it's definitely rewarding if you go to office hours and review the assignment with her. She's a great person to ask for a LOR and truly cares for her student. The best professor I've had at UCSB.

decent class. woudlve liked more experience with public speaking. prof is very nice and helpful, but is a bit high school-ish if that makes sense. class is pretty easy but she grades pretty tough.

Get ready to work! Professor Genova does not kid around, so be prepared to spend a LOT of time on this class. That said, you will become a much better writer. Definitely go to her office hours because A) she's really friendly and passionate and B) she assigns a lot of assignments so it's hard to keep up with everything and get feedback on it.

Professor G is the G. She's super clear about what she wants on your assignments, and if you go to office hours with a rough draft she'll tell you exactly what you need to change to get an A. She's also very knowledgable about law school, and the legal practice, so if you're interested in any of that it'll be an even better experience for you!

Genova is the singular best professor I have had at UCSB. Period. She is so passionate about her work, she cares about her students and is always there if you need help. Will go out of her way to accommodate if you just communicate with her. She makes you work for the A but it is so rewarding when you score well. Prepared me so well for law school
