CollegeProfessor Razor was amazing. She was so nice. I took her silent film class and it was great. I enjoyed her lectures and although some of the screenings are long (and silent) it is a very interesting class and she is so knowledgeable.
prof razor is the best prof I have ever had at UCSB. she actually wants her students to succeed and makes sure we all get good grades. some of us didn't get the grade we wanted on the midterm but she provided SO many extra credit opportunities to make up for it. also her canvas is AMAZING she is so organized and provides all the resources u need!!
Prof Razor is the best. She puts SO much info on Canvas, there's literally no way not to get a good grade in her class. For every reading she assigns, she also writes/uploads a thorough summary. Canvas Multiple choice midterm/final and at home quizzes. Even though lectures are long, I'm never rly bored cause her passion and knowledge are engaging.
This is for SLAV164B. Professor Razor is amazing and really cares about her students. Her grading was very simple and I learned SO much without stressing about any exams or anything. There is one midterm and final (both 1000 word essays). She's very lenient and cancelled our final essay and gave us an open note MC exam instead. Highly recommend !!!
Honestly the first professor I took that wanted their students to succeed. She loves getting to know you as an individual as well and creats opportunities for marginalized voices.
Professor Razor is one of the best professors at UCSB. Content was super interesting and the movies were all great. Weekly discussion posts plus a few quizzes a midterm and final. All not difficult if you study. Also a final zine project that's not hard. Great upper div election. I would take her again easily
