one of the most bizarre classes I've truly ever taken. lectures were confusing and long winded and even if you looked away for one second you'd be lost for the rest of class. Often go off on tangents that somehow were relevant to class discussions??? Pop quizzes were "evenly distributed" minus the one week when there was like 4 in a row.

She is not nearly as bad as the rest of the ratings will have you believe. Be prepared to do the work to understand the concepts, of which there are many, so definitely utilize your TA and group studies with your peers! The professor does have a heavy bias, but she's very intelligent and easy to get along with.

She has a clear personal influence she shares in class, some was good, some was bad, at the end of the day, it's night.

The CUMULATIVE final was diabolical and structured to not let you earn an A, you have to have a DEEP understanding of everything mentioned over the course. The class itself involves INSANE amounts of abstract thinking which is great but it correlates poorly to assignments (more difficult to interpret what prof. wants you to do).

Genuinely sold my soul to barely succeed in this class.

Probably the worst film class I've ever taken. Mandatory lectures forced to sit through with AI generated slides, not related to readings, and if there is content that does related, it's quickly passed over. Week 7 changed our final from 10% to 25% of our grade due to lack of planning from her. Don't take this class with her if at all possible.
