PHYS135 . Safinya C R 10 Months Ago

It's a cool class but only if you're super interested in biophysics/soft matter physics. Lectures were kind of messy but cool nonetheless as I learned a lot. Grading wise it's fairly easy to get an A.

Extremely disorganized. Lectures have no clear flow or logic to them, just rambles. Very, very slow pace, due to lack of conscientiousness and forethought. For example, the first two lectures were entirely about what we are going to learn (ie a waste of time). Distracted, derailed by questions. I do not recommend. I'd rather learn independently.

Really nice person. But, his lectures were mostly incomprehensible, no clear pattern or organization to the thoughts presented. I don't think I learned anything new until the last two weeks of the class. And he required students to sporadically meet outside class hours, never at a convenient time.
