CollegeLiterally the best professor ever. So engaging and chill, she made our writing class fun and not too serious so it was really easy to do the long papers. Take her classes!
The class definitely has a lot to read on itself, so it's still a hard class. But the professor is caring and respecting, also the gradings are fair. So, even though the workload could be a bit tough, in general it's still manageable.
very nice and understanding, gives good group work that's relevant and fun highly recommend her. lots of group discussion and grading is fair and fairly easy
Dana was the best teacher I've had at UCSB so far! She was very understanding and accommodating. She is supportive in class and you don't need to read to do well in the class. Just skimming the readings will get you full points. graded off of a couple of things but as long as you follow the clear guidelines, you will get a good grade.
Super relaxed class and nothing was ever "right" or "wrong" in her class. She is a bit awkward but you should definitely develop a close relationship with her, and participate in class because she is very sweet. Class could be a bit boring at times, but this class won't feel like a burden at all. Some reading is needed but you can skim it.
Very kind and caring professor. Wants you to do well and is eager to assist whenever she can.
