This chorus studies and performs the main repertory for treble voices, from Renaissance to 21st Century. Occasionally undertakes collaboration with other UCSB choirs and community entities. No audition required.
Strong musician with poor directing skills. Brent has a rather untraditional method of conducting a choir (no voice matching, no sectionals, no student leadership). For a no-audition choir, he moves quickly-- difficult if you are new to music, but easy if you have experience. Overall, very down-to-earth director but disappointing for UCSB music.

Choral conducting was awesome. I learned so much about musicianship in one term. Approachable teacher and makes extra effort to assist outside of class.
