CollegeLove her. Good lecturer. She made every content sounds so intriguing. I participated sharing on stage for five times and she gave me so many extra credit. Exam questions are given before the exam to make sure students are fully prepared. She made great effort to explain all the criteria about exam, writing assignments and all the course materials.
Spent like a few hours on this class outside of class in the whole quarter - just before tests or writing the paper. Lecture is boring but just sit through it and get the attendance. TAs are good.
Super sweet and the class was so easy. There were no homework or out of class assignments and the only grades were attendance, an easy creative writing assignment, and a midterm and final that you were able to take notes/cheat sheet into. Very easy GE.
midterm, final, one writing assignment (600 words), and lecture/section attendance. very straightforward and easy class, but so incredibly boring. she cared too much about people being on their phones, but has the most monotone voice known to man that it was hard to want to pay attention. she's passionate about the course but so so boring
The most boring, pointless class I've ever taken. I don't think she's said a single thing of substance. She has destroyed my perception of music as a field of study as I wonder how low the requirements are to earn a PhD in this field. If you want an easy A, at least find a class that won't make you fall asleep.
Pointless class. Repetitive and not much to learn from. The assignments are a waste of time and you are expected to buy tickets for "concerts" outside of the classroom. Would not recommend this course or professor.
