CollegeHonestly this class was not bad. The midterm and final require a lotttt of studying of the details, a tip is for every concept memorize 1-2 examples that you can apply. Weekly quizzes are 40% of the grade but they have unlimited attempts. There was a pre-curve for both exams which really helped, and I didn't find the exams as hard as I thought.
The class was interesting but he taught of material that we weren't tested on.
Good professor. Both lectures and sections take attendance. It's possible to learn all the material in one day before the midterm or final and still do well. The exams are not difficult.
I took Ling 20 with him in the Fall of 2023 and I just realized I never wrote a review for him. He is a wonderful lecturer, and as a ling major, I found his classes to be both interesting and informative. I am going to take Ling 107 with him this winter and I am very excited!
Super cool guy, coursework was not difficult at all except for confusing exam questions. Not too much work, but lectures can get boring.
Very chill and nice guy, and explains concepts well. Class was super easy yet interesting. Exams were fair.
