This internship allows students to collaborate with philanthropic, non-profit, and for-profit organizations that are based locally, nationally or globally. Working on-site or remotely, students learn practical implications of a degree in EALCS and in the Humanities more generally, and they have the opportunity to utilize their knowledge of technology and of foreign languages and cultures. While contributing to the organization and its initiatives, students gain valuable experience that can lead to career choices after graduation. Up to 4 units of internship can count towards an EALCS major or minor. Please see the EALCS website for information on arranging internships and for expectations regarding receiving internship credit.
