CollegeThis was for video game design, a special topics class in CCS. Richert was amazing. Prioritized projects where students can explore their interests, interacted with students, and gave good feedback/explanation. He is good at explaining concepts in a simple, clear way. If you have the opportunity to take his class, please do so.
He is really a nice guy, passionate about the course and very accessible outside of classroom. Although the labs are quite difficult and there are a lots of works, there are many office hours where you can get help. He really did explain everything very clear in the lectures and answer every questions. Awesome lecturer, definitely take his class!
Labs are very time consuming especially if you are taking this class and it isn't required for your major. Very nice, and genuinely seems to care about his students and the subject he's teaching.
lowkenuniley a great guy, super nice and passionate. I rushed through labs and homework so I missed easy points there but def don't make the same mistake. Midterms and Finals are presuamble curved so the avergae is at least a B. I was able to get an A on the midterm and B+ on final, they didn't feel exccesively hard just throuhgly study
LOVE THIS MAN. While lectures are not mandatory and are recorded, please go, as he genuinely deserves the audience. RECOMMENDATIONS: I got an A by getting basically 100% in lab/HW, but don't stress: I got mid Bs on midterm and final and he rounded. Definitely do past midterms/finals. For the final, I did well because I memorized the algorithms.
Prof Wang was super kind and engaging. In-person midterm and final were pretty standard in comparison to other cs classes. Lectures and sections weren't mandatory but I would recommend going.
