CollegeProfessor Segura was a very nice lady, but her class was a complete disaster. It ended up being online, which made things even worse rather then easier. We would get assignments back 5 weeks after we turned it in. It was just really bad. She is very passionate on the topic but the structure needs a lot of fixing. Also the TA was a HARD grader.
Awful Professor that expects you to recall everything she says during lecture and wants you to quote them in the assignments. Lectures aren't in the least bit interesting and are quite repetitive. You essentially have to brown nose her by frequently speaking in class in hopes that she raises your grade at the end.
Professor goes on random tangents throughout her lectures and is passive aggressive when asked questions. Her TA grades extremely harshly and nitpicks on little details. I tried my hardest to follow his critiques but given that there are only 3 assignments, I couldn't improve by much. Short story: don't take the class. It is awful in every regard.
This is the second course I have taken with her, that was a mistake. She is disorganized and disinterested based on her tangental side lectures and preference to make her TA's do all the work. Her finals and reflections are extremely limiting in that she expects students to note down every word a peer says and incorporate it weeks later!
This professor during her lectures was all over the place, not focused and was always going off topic. Her homework was easy but make sure you turn it in on time because she is very strict on deadlines and she does not work with students on late assignments. Professor needs time management skills. Her TA was also not helpful and was also not clear
Amazing teacher, super easy to understand, when it came to the midterms and papers she often tells you specifically where to look in order to be able to pass the class. She is caring and open with her class and often engages in conversation but overall super sweet professor.
