CollegeBased on the other reviews I was expecting an extremely difficult class. It was not. Super easy, simple. Just do what you're asked and you'll do good. Mine was online/summer sesh and the material was a bit boring, but not horrible, you'll survive. 1 midterm (2 short answer questions), 1 final (essay), & attendance. I feel like they graded easy.
do not take this professor! did not get midterm grades until finals week and is very unorganized.
Dr. Segura is extremely old, lacks any knowledge of basic technology, and yaps about whatever her heart desires instead of teaching. She tries to be "woke" but has no idea about any of the things she is supposedly teaching about. It is truly painful every time I have to step foot in her class and you couldn't pay me to take it again. Also rude asf.
Do not take this professor!!!!! You will not learn anything in her classes. All she does is just talk and talk about stuff that is barely related to the class topic or its completely unrelated. Tough grader. Does not care about students and their success. Can not work technology (no tech class btw). Rude. Don't take her. Worst professor in the dept
She is a very poor and uneducated teacher. Professor Segura is very unprofessional and basically treats the class as her way of choosing who she likes and dislikes.
Do NOT take ANY course with this professor. She is extremely old and needs to retire. She cannot use the internet AT ALL so mostly everything is on paper. She always forgets everything. Her lectures are literally based off of what she has experienced. Her slides have a lot of info, but not that helpful at all. Tina Grubbler, the TA is also bad.
