CollegeAs an exchange student, I thoroughly enjoyed my learning experience in the PSTAT 126 course. The classes were consistently engaging and insightful that I really learned a lot from it!
Prof. Abuzaid is a nice instructor for PSTAT 126. While the course itself is challenging with its mathematical derivations, he always provides clear explanations that make the material more manageable. I found it especially helpful that he included R code in the notes, which was invaluable for completing the final project.
Prof. Abuzaid is incredibly approachable and helpful! Although I've never been one to attend office hours regularly, I visited his office twice, and both times he was very kind and took the time to thoroughly explain everything. I would definitely take his class again.
Professor Abuzaid is one of the most patient and caring professors I've had. He was always very helpful during office hours and responded to my emails promptly. He also provided valuable guidance to our final project team, helping us clean up the data efficiently.
Had both 100 and 126. Bro never updated grades. When asked for practice midterm, his response "No, that won't be necessary" had me gagged. TAs were confused and overworked. He REFUSED to post lecture materials ahead for us to follow, so his lectures were impossible. Didn't align with textbook material, so you can't even prep ahead. Bad teacher.
Terrible professor. Didn't know my grade the whole quarter so I had no idea how I was doing. Didn't respond to my emails. I feel like I would enjoy this course if it were taught by an actual good prof.
