Lectures provided were from 2 years ago. No effort at all. Had to rate the professor when he basically was not present, and test was prepared by someone else on topics that were not covered. Lectures are boring and monotonous. The only good thing tbh was a cute dog Tyler, this guy was the only thing I was looking forward to when watching them.

Intro Bio department couldn't find a professor to teach the plants section of the course so they had us watch Scott's online COVID lectures. His lectures were all over the place; I'd recommend reading the book in-depth rather than watching his lectures as he does not stray far from it.

He was a really sweet professor who really cares about his students. He showed us really cool videos about his dog and plants that he sees on his hikes. Informational, inspirational, and interesting. Hope he continues making them!

Prof. Hodges is a really passionate, kind instructor. Lectures are detailed and reflective of exam content. CLAS and practice questions (especially from in-class quizzes) help. Organization could be better, and there is a lot of studying involved in his portion, but overall I recommend taking this class!

Extremely disorganized lectures which seem to jump all over the place, but if you pay attention and take good notes you'll catch on. He provided a practice final which contained a handful of exact questions from the midterm we were graded on, which was nice. No need to even open the textbook for this entire class.

passionate lecturer, but very disorganized. his powerpoint slides are hard to follow. its difficult to study when you're just looking at diagrams from the book and blurry videos of his dog. his midterm was very generous tho.
