CollegeScudder is an amazing professor! Her lectures are very detailed and provides lots of examples. The exams weren't too bad and they're only weighted 15% each since you have a 8-10 pg research proposal paper that is 30% of your grade. You work on your paper and get feedback throughout the entire course during your lab sections so don't worry about it!
Phenomenal professor, her lectures were extremely clear and easy to follow. Her exams were also very fair according to what she taught during lectures. One of the most interesting classes I've taken at ucsb by far.
Super sweet lecturer who is very passionate about the subject. I personally found the lectures kind of boring but that's party because the material isn't all that interesting to me. 3 exams and weekly quizzes + discussions w/ a very fair and generous grading policy. Exams can be hard but she provides many study resources. Lectures have iclicker.
LOVE HER!! love the class, engaging lecturer, fair (and easy) tests, and obviously wants her students to succeed. i plan to take more psych classes with her in the future
Awesome professor-- great grading criteria, humorous, open to questions, straightforward tests, allows cheat sheets, etc. She wants students to succeed and it's incredibly obvious in her passion for teaching the material. Attend ULA sessions if you need help (they're a great resource); MCDB 6 and EEMB 7 are great preparation for the class.
i wish she taught all my classes. she was amazing and made it clear she wanted each and every one of us to succeed. i loved the way she organized the course so carefully.
