CollegeI enjoyed this class a lot, and thought the lectures were very insightful. Professor was funny, but the class was only graded by two essays that were graded very harshly and one final that takes the entire 3 hours (10 short answer questions, 3 medium-length essays, 2 long essays). Class was enjoyable, but who your TA is definitely matters.
Lectures feel long and confusing. Handouts sort of help at least. He hops so fast from topic to topic that it's difficult to take any substantial notes. Am not looking forward to the final, which from the study guide seems tedious.
just dont do it.
This dude might genuinely be the funniest person I've ever met. Not like professor funny, i mean seriously hilarious. His lectures are super engaging and you can tell he's an expert on moral psych. Would definitely take again
Couple of books to purchase from amazon for lecture. TA (Jess Wood) graded the papers very harshly, lectures were very boring and the professor went on excessive tangents that were not related to the material. Only one exam, final, was easy to study for once given the study guide. Lectures did not really do me any good in learning the material.
Zimmerman was a good professor who cares about what he's teaching. He goes on tangents at times and I found some of the lectures to be dreadfully boring, but he's funny and does his best to make class engaging. TA Jess was AWESOME and wanted us to succeed, so would highly recommend going to office hours for help. The 2 essays/final aren't too hard.
