Emphasis is placed on ocean acidification, warming and deoxygenation, as well as plastic and oil pollution. Topics discussed include threats to marine diversity and ecosystem function, latitudinal shifts in productivity and diversity, changes in the global cycling of elements such as carbon, and the cost of climate change on food security.
