GEOG119 . Ding Q 1 Year, 9 Months Ago

I am pretty sure someone is taking down the bad reviews. I remember seeing poor reviews on here a few months ago and now they're gone. He's a terrible professor. Do not take this class if you can help it. The lectures made it more difficult for me and the quizzes were overly confusing and vague.

Hands down the best and easiest class. You wouldn't have to worry about your grades to a point where you can actually enjoy learning about the things taught in the class.

Ding did great teaching such an expansive topic like climate change, but because of this topic you were looking over presentations with well over 100 slides 2-times a week! Just a crazy amount of information to study. However the exams and homework were very easy, so in the end the class was worth the long studying time for an easy-A.

I took his Climatic Change course and I loved it. Hes very straightforward in what hes looking for. There is a little math but its high school level. Hes enthusiastic with the subject matter and the passion shows. With quizzes and homeworks he puts out a solution manual to aid your studies. No reason to not get an A. Fantastic prof.

Go to lectures and pay attention. Tests are hard, but big curve at the end. He's kind of hard to understand, but just really pay attention, and you'll be fine. TAs help you out a lot with the weekly section activity. Overall, pretty easy class and a good GE to get out of the way.
