I liked the class. The topic of the final presentation (plastic pollution) was very relevant. Good preparation for becoming an educator. Karin is very likeable as well.
Professor Karin is an amazing education teacher. As one of the first education classes I've taken she gave me an amazing introduction into the department. She gave feedback on every assignment and grades were heavily based on student participation. Amazing teacher, would always take this class again!
This professor doesn't respond to emails and doesn't post assignments on time, so you never know when assignments are due. very strict on deadlines and takes off points for being late. required a lot of writing assignments, not considering the fact we have other classes and jobs. would recommend to take a better ED professor.
Really liked this course. There are weekly reading preps that are relatively easy, bi-weekly reflections, a presentation, and an essay. Attendance is mandatory and class is 2.5 hours but very interesting. You work in a group the whole quarter which can be good or bad. Lohwasser is very passionate and cares about her students.
Super caring professor who wants everyone to succeed :) Easy A, but lots of busy work and random assignments. Overall, the course wasn't too bad and the prof was pretty nice
