he's so sweet and explains the material so incredibly well. has a good sense of humor. homeworks are perfect length and give you good practice. exam problems build on each other nicely, it's quite satisfying. overall i'm a fan of rose and 139 ended up being one of my fav classes. also my TA (Monsij) was absolutely goated

Kenneth is a pretty cool dude, really just a solid person and professor. We got 1 HW assignment every week except the week before the midterm, and they're graded pretty harshly by correctness, but he drops the lowest. TAs hard carried review. The midterm and final were take home and online which saved my grade. Curved class by half a grade

He genuinely cares about his students. His slides were helpful in understanding material and his lectures had relevant examples. Both the final/midterm were take home with 24 hours to complete, which is a very generous policy. Overall a very good professor.

He is a nice man but this topic was so hard for me, I really struggled. His lectures left me confused so I just learned everything by going to section because I had a wonderful TA. Quizzes every week in section so attendance is basically mandatory. Both midterm and final were take home though so that was nice.

Good professor. Very clear and helpful and keeps a pretty boring subject somewhat interesting. Pretty good sense of humor too. Homeworks are very reasonable and his exams are also pretty fair. Grades fairly. Good professor overall!
