Amazing woman and a true teacher! The best class I have taken as a chem major - you learn cool things, get INVALUABLE and RELEVANT experience with analytical instruments, and grow into a confident and capable scientist. Take this class if you want a good job and if you want to learn more about materials science and physical chemistry :)

Great professor, her class definitely helped me secure my first job out of college! 153 is a time commitment, but if you are serious about finding a good job out of college, her class is a MUST. she will teach you how to do interviews, work instruments, and essentially prepare you for the real world. Plus she has this kind of older-lady hotness.

I took an honors seminar class with her and I loved it. The class was super interesting and she was helpful outside of class as well. Each week she would show us different research opportunities that had opened up and help us with more than just what was taught in the class

I loved this professor, the accent takes a bit of time to get used to but i did decent on the first midterm second i did not but the final was fair and I studied enough to pass the class, she's helpful and doing the book problems and taking ten minutes to read the chapter before the lecture really helps

Read the book; attend lectures, do the practice exams- do whatever you can to succeed in this class and an "A" is EASILY within your grasp. She is an amazing professor and really loves teaching along with trying to instill a love of knowledge in her students. Great class, highly recommended professor.
