CollegeI loved this professor. He was an amazing lecturer and I actually went to class. The grade mainly depends on your TA and mine was hard but AMAZING. I found this class very fulfilling and interesting. There was a midterm in-class essay and 2 vocab q's and a final paper. The rest of the grade is weekly writings and participation. Take this class!
He is a great lecturer and class was pretty easy. If you go to lecture and take notes you will get an A. There were weekly 300 word mini papers, pretty easy and top 6 count, a midterm where you get a full page of notes to bring, and a final paper that was pretty easy. This was a great class that I really enjoyed.
The professor gives good lectures. The grade is determined by the ta.
As someone who doesn't like history I found his lectures to be very engaging. The midterm is free response questions, where you get a page of notes. The final is a 5-7 page paper. Section is mandatory and you are expected to do a lot of reading some weeks, but it is definitely manageable. Only homework is 6 essay responses to the weekly readings.
He is a very good lecturer and makes the content fun to learn! This class was very easy as long as you do the reading and pay attention in lecture.
You could do well if you are passionate about history, otherwise you'll find the lectures and readings very boring. There are readings every week paired with a 300 word written response, a midterm exam, and a final paper, and they were all graded pretty harshly by my TA. Overall, the experience largely depends on your TA.
