Collegeprofessor hom always teaches very fun and unique classes. this one was crime italian style and it was super engaging. the class consists of attendance, a couple easy quizzes, in person midterm, group presentation, and take home final. she always responds to emails quickly. there can be a lot of readings but the lectures are more important for tests
Hom is an incredibly qualified professor who gave super engaging lectures! I took 120X as a random GE but genuinely learned so much. There was minimal work, primarily just readings. Essay rather than in-person final was also a bonus. Would recommend for anyone.
My favorite professor I've had so far! Her class was so interesting and I would 100% recommend it to anyone! The class consisted of a couple online quizzes, a midterm, and a final paper. Overall not a lot of work and I would definitely take this class again!
Proffesor Hom is truly an incredible professor who cares so deeply for her students and will go above and beyond to ensure that we are on the right track to success in her class. I have taken three classes with Professor Hom, and I hope to take more. Her lectures are so engaging and insightful, and she gives us many opportunities to be creative!
Great lecturer and an easy class. The only problem with the class was that I could not complete a quiz that was 10% of my grade and I went from an A in the class to a B. Overall a great class and I learned a lot. Professor Hom was great.
Two quizzes, a menu project, and one midterm (allowed a paper of notes). Easy upper-div elective. Attend lectures and take good notes as most questions she directly states the answer to. Can't review slideshows as they have very little to no info. TA grades pretty harshly. Professor Hom corrected their grading. She wants u to succeed. Great class!
