CollegeDr. Chenoweth was very nice, enthusiastic, and encouraging. Classes were structured in a way that required engagement and participation, and assignments were long but really helpful in practicing different types of science communication. She's a tough grader, but also offers lots of ways to make up points. Would highly recommend taking her class!
She is definitely a very harsh grader. Worse her instruction and criteria are vague and hard to understand. However she is very supportive and approachable. You can really learn something but it's hard to get a good grade.
Dr. Chenoweth is super sweet and very knowledgable about writing. I learned a lot from her class and my writing definitely improved. She grades fairly and gives constructive feedback. There's only two main writing assignments and the final is just revising them. Pretty easy, and lowkey fun because you can write about any subject that interests you.
Always had a set agenda so yk what would be gone over in class. Gives great feedback and approachable, assigns meet ups at least 2x, they're helpful bc you get 1 on 1 time with her to ask any questions or advice on writing projects. You have 3 writing projects that are not easy but as long as you take in the advise she gives, then you're good.
Very nice, I felt like she kinda graded hard and refused to give As. If your aiming for a B this class shouldn't be hard. She makes it easy to get to know her well and she is very at ease on due dates.
Chenoweth is by far the best professor I had this quarter. She gives lots of specific feedback on every project. There are two mandatory office hours where you can get questions answered or just discuss concerns about a project. The workload is very manageable and there is lots of freedom. It's clear she cares about her students and their success.
