CollegeLam seemed to really care about helping his students learn. There were some technical issues with the homework and he made sure everyone got 100% on those homeworks. I think he explained the concepts pretty well, but I had also taken calculus before in high school. Tests were very reasonable.
He is a really nice professor and drops lowest midterm and homework grade however his teaching methods are confusing as he goes back and forth on problems and examples.
Very willing to answer questions and make concepts clear within lectures, but at times he goes fast which is a little difficult to follow. He is helpful and accessible, and nice with final grades (curved the average final course grade for Math 8 up to an 80).
He teaches strictly through examples which can be nice because his tests are like his lectures but if you want a solid foundation for the concepts, then you have to teach yourself. He doesn't really teach you step by step or give you solid definitons. But he is kind and very lenient and will always help you.
Really friendly professor, easy to talk to in office hours and within class. Listens and implements feedback and is very generous when it comes to grading. Cares a lot about the class and made learning the material engaging and fun!
