ENVS2 . 5 Months Ago

This class was alright. Definitely my least favorite out of ES 1-3, but Professor Murray is super kind and clearly passionate about the topics she discusses. Although the workload is easily manageable, the course focuses mostly on writing aspects with weekly reflections and essays that can be quite annoying. Online midterm and final were clutch.

ENVS2 . 5 Months Ago

Very considerate and interesting professor. Talked a lot about current topics in ES which I appreciated. The three field trips are interesting ways to switch up sections and learn more about ES. Weekly writing projects can be tedious but fairly manageable. Laptops are not allowed in class unless you have DSP. I suggest saving the slides to an ipad.

ENVS2 . 1 Year, 6 Months Ago

I loved taking this class with Professor Murray! Attendance began to be mandatory towards the end of the course. She assigns a lot of busy work but it is definitely doable. I think the TAs genuinely carry the class as they are so helpful and friendly. If you have the opportunity to choose your TA, pick Michael! He's the best!

ENVS2 . 1 Year, 7 Months Ago

The course itself is very easy and has the midterm and final online. Lecture was not graded but section did need to be attended because of group projects and field trips

ENVS2 . 1 Year, 7 Months Ago

I took ENVS 2 with Professor Murray, it was her first time teaching the course. The content was cool and covered a variety of environmental science topics but her lectures could get a little boring. Three local field trips with your section, various group projects/small papers, and an in-class debate. Online midterm and final were easy w/ notes
