CollegeHe is not that difficult. I got a B without trying really hard. The class is interesting because it is about Greeks, but this professor is a dork. He is a wannabe Greek and his jokes are terrible.
class is never dull with erickson. He tells jokes, stories and sort of bounces around during lecture. He's a lot of fun and you can tell he's excited by the bouncing in place when he talks. Attending class is key. Great professor!
If you want an easy A, just go to class. Everything that you need to know in order to do well in this class is taught in lecture. Erickson is a super entertaining lecturer as well with a very pleasant and inviting charisma. If you don't go to class, you won't get an A. Despite that, going to class is well worth it. Only class I've genuinely enjoyed
if you want an easy GE, prof erickson's greek myth is a great option. you can get away with doing minimal work and still get a good grade. the papers are worth a lot, but if your ta is chill even that shouldn't be a major stressor. prof erickson's lectures on their own are super entertaining and make greek myth fun!
prof erickson is super funny and entertaining in lecture, and his courseload is manageable and pretty easy. the papers are a bit long, but a little effort goes a long way with them. honestly didn't do a single reading and still did decent in the class. the in-class timed essays are easier than they sound.
There are lots of readings but he goes over them in lecture, which was a lot easier than reading them. Timed essay for the midterm, in-person multiple choice final, and final essay relating Greek Myth to a modern day movie. The lectures are entertaining and easy to understand.
