She's so inspirational. I was always excited for class, learned something new every time. Lectures are a lot of info, but it's all relevant and she explains how it all connects. Literally changed my life and now I'm applying for law school.

AMAZING PROFESSOR! So passionate, informative, not afraid to give her opinion on global affairs. Great lecture slides with tons of information, posted online so you can use them whenever, but her lectures are so good you need to go. Made the law approachable to a Soc major. I would take any class with her and would give her 50 stars if I could

She gave way too many readings in this class for my liking, and had a quiz every week. She's very knowledgable but her lectures are really hard to keep up with. It all makes sense in her head I'm guessing but she rambles and doesn't explain the material well.

Weekly readings, 3 written papers, blue book midterm/final. Go to lectures and stay on top of the readings and it's a straight forward class. She focuses on current events so it's actually pretty interesting. She's nice but no real instruction on studying for the actual exams. Ended up re-reading/taking notes on the lectures/readings, which worked.

Professor Hajjar has been such an amazing professor that I am taking another class with her next quarter. She really cares about her students and the material, and is one of the most knowledgeable academics I've ever met. Her class is easy if you show up and at least try to succeed on the papers (3 pages) and tests, each of which there were two.

TAKE THIS CLASS! This was my favorite class ive taken at UCSB. Though her lectures and readings were heavy, her lectures are so engaging it is easy to stay on track. Her lecture slides also cover every aspect of the readings so if any part of the reading is confusing, she will cover it. I could not stop talking about the class content. the best.
