Zisa is an amazing professor! Very kind and helpful. If you want to truly improve your writing and would like an active professor who provides honest constructive criticism, she is the way to go!

Dr. Zisa is a pretty good professor. Attendance is mandatory, and her lectures are mundane. But she's very nice with grading and is always open to questions or help. We had two writing assignments and a megnacognitive letter at the end, all put together in a website for our final.

STAY AWAY. This class has a 60% A rate, but 80% of anyone in her lecture will not recieve an A. She rambles and rambles on about arbitrary concepts. She talks for the entire 2 hours even though all of the other lecturers let students go early. She expects you to read so many of the readings and fills the entire class with a mountain of busy work.

I had Dr. Zisa for Writing 1 and 2 and I would recommend taking her class. I found the class content rather boring at times, but I think it would be this way with any professor. Dr. Zisa is very kind and has lenient grading policies. She breaks the projects down into 3-4 parts so the work did not feel too overwhelming.

Jessica is a great professor, but her classes are very lecture-heavy. Half of the information provided by her could be shortened significantly. I found myself confused a lot by her instructions provided on the assignments because of the over-informative nature. However, achieving an A isn't very hard w/ her, participate and do your work on time.

Had her for a condensed 6 week version of writing 2. I'm surprised there's bad reviews because I thought she was really sweet, yeah she talks a lot more than necessary and overexplains but the material wasn't very difficult and I thought she graded very leniently and put a lot of effort into feedback and helping students progress.
