Fun class, as are most of the elementary Italian courses. Just do the reading and study for the quizzes and you'll pass.

I've had three different Italian profs and Carla was by far the best. She makes coming to class everyday worth it, she keeps it entertaining and really wants her class to do well. Take her every quarter if you can.

She is so sweet and really wants the class to succeed, maybe too much because she dumbed down the quizzes for us when we didn't do well. Super nice and super facile!

Nice, very enthusiastic about the subject and teaches a lot about the culture and lifestyles of Italy. However, she is a bit disorganized/scatterbrained and less systematic than other profs.

She is so caring and I always felt comfy speaking in class and asking questions. Theres a 50-60$ book and attendance was mandatory. Her classes were fun and the final was an oral project that was insightful

She is so cool. We speak alot in class which makes sense bc it's a language class, group projects, attendance is mandatory and there is alot of homework. If you speak already French or Spanish, it makes the class alot easier but you have to study alot on your own. Overall recommend to anyone
