CollegeBoring and uninformative lectures, tests always had at least one curveball and it was very unclear what they would cover. Test grading was harsh, if you didn't get the correct answer you don't get points.
Harsh grading
Lecture can be boring sometimes since he reads off powerpoints, but I still found it helpful. You must have the book since homework is assigned out of it and you will need it for reference. Assigned problems are often confusing so make sure to get clarification if you don't understand the question.
Parhami wrote the book he teaches from, and he knows his stuff when it comes to computer architecture. great intro class.
Grade is based on attendance only. Really easy class, just sit in the back and sleep.
Seminar, attendance is the only determinant in passing. If you're interested, engage the lecture and try the challenges he presents to you. If not, sit in the back of the class and sleep, or do your CS 16/24 hw.
